I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that there is no more snow on the ground. It makes driving to campus so much easier! Who would have thought?!?
Dark of the Moon officially started yesterday with our first read-through! I'm very excited to be working on this show, the last show of the mainstage season, and the last mainstage show of my college career. I suggest everyone coming to see it because it will be amazing. I mean, you should see the scene design scale model...WOW.
Music rehearsals were tonight. I didn't realize Caleb was soo musically inclined. He's been arranging all the songs for the show. I wish I was like that. My knowledge of music theory is incredibly slim...which I am kinda sad about. If I am seriously considering being Music Certified during my high school teaching career, I should maybe get better at theory...hrmmmm.
I have one good quote from Psychology today. Dr. Felton was discussing x-rays, radiation, MRIs, and pregnancy. Well, he said, "You know, they have to put that big, heavy, lead apron to protect your gonads." Gonads? Really? He makes me laugh sometimes.
So, I have been trying something lately. I've been trying to stay up late...to get myself back into the college groove. Also, there may be an all-nighter approaching now that DOTM rehearsals have started. I mean everyone else I know stays up until 4AM. But! I can't do it. I can't! I get tired by 11PM. It's 1AM now...and my eyes don't want to stay open. I am officially OLD.
With that I leave you. But I do have a video!!! I've known about this one for a while, I just haven't put it up. I love the documentary Planet Earth...a lot. So I thought this was funny...
